Why does everyone always make this out to be about saving money on gas?
vote: Windows Home Server, no question.

Heloooo Mrs. Reynolds.
I just got into the Windows alpha today. So excited.
Here's some of her awesomeness -
I read over on Joystiq - "When Halo 3 runs, if a HDD is present, we copy maps from the DVD to the utility partition on the HDD," says Noguchi."
Got it this morning around 7am (EST).
I did this to a Win7 beta running in a VM (VMware) and the Aero goodies do not work(preview, peek, etc). You need a decent (pretty much any video card in the past 2 years will do it, including Intel embedded) video card for that stuff to work.
I'm running it in a VM with 1gb ram, dual-core. At idle it uses a little over 512mb of ram. That alone says something....

HP Mediasmart as well for me. 2.0 TB (1x500gig, 2x750gig). Complete backups of 3 pc's in the house, and network storage/sharing/streaming everywhere.

Not bad, but in order for your thumbdrive or iphone "LivePCs" to work the Mokofive player (looks to actually be a rebranded version of VMware player) has to be installed on the host PC - not likely in the real world.
