A lot of times with the murky waters in IP businesses get each other’s blessings so as to not have to worry about potential legal action or just to maintain good relationships (Valve and Activision have a mutually (very) beneficial relationship).
They didn’t defend him because he is an arrogant shit to work with, this coming from someone who once considered him a good friend. Fuck that dude.
That was a really weird tangent you went on about people claiming to be six feet tall but aren’t.
True story - I went to Northeastern when Jose Juan (that’s what we called him in the good old days) was there. I got in an elevator at my dorm one day and he steps in beside me. I was a stoner and thought it would be douchey to say anything, and was high as fuck so I just smiled when he came in.
I’m sure they like to run, I’m not sure they like to run to the point of risking their own life. The average of 2 to 3 that die every year in the race are just the dogs that die. Imagine all the ones suffering to the point of near death. If the dogs were running at their own pace I’m sure they’d love it, they’re not,…
Things just haven’t been the same since Shawn Walsh. :-(
I fly weekly for my job, my general rule is if its an adult next to me, anything (within reason) is game. I still feel scummy when there’s really graphic violence or any sort of sex scene on, especially if I’m sitting next to a woman.

Did Hannah’s foot get stuck in a bucket?
Oh, for real? I was at an AHL game in my youth (Maine Mariners! Represent!), and that exact situation happened, except it was a pulled goalie because they were down a goal at the end of the game. The goalie came back onto the ice and there was a penalty shot. This was ‘91 or so though, so rules could have changed.
D-Men should have slid their sticks, it’s a penalty shot, but better than a guaranteed goal.
I’m so confused about the outrage at Uber. Surge pricing is used to increase supply to certain areas by providing a bigger incentive to drivers. By turning off surge pricing they helped the taxi strike more than they harmed it by directing less drivers to JFK.
Which brings up another point - I always assumed surge pricing was put in effect to increase the supply of Uber drivers, by paying them more than typical to service an area. So why would eliminating surge pricing at JFK be a bad thing? It means there would be fewer drivers servicing JFK and therefore an attempt to…

As a Pats fan God I hope the Packers find a way to knock off the Falcons. Wishing for Aaron Rodgers is asinine,I know, but that Falcons offense looks so unstoppable.
Ok, so we’ve got a group that ends with each team nabbing 3 points a piece, each winning by a score of 1-0.
Yeah you’re right the Pats offense is only so-so.
They had the best offense of the decade outside of Cassell and a top 10 defense. They went from 16 wins to 11. A +5 WAR in football would roughly be equivalent to +50 in baseball.
New England has also brilliantly taken advantage of the way the NFL now handles passing. The game is essentially sand lot football now.
