I want Lonzo to succeed. If he succeeds, the team succeeds, quite frankly. Hindsight being 20/20, and with the way the league is going, I think teams needs more players in the Tatum/Thompson/Leonard mold. You have two (or three?) productive guys like that and you can win more efficiently.

Randle is good, but he has a very particular skill, which is simply bullying guys to the hole and scoring. That and he’s a decent (if sometimes gambling) defender. Don’t get me wrong, I like him, it’s just I’m not sure if his skill can translate to playoff wins or if he’s just getting a bunch of stats on a subpar team.
