Yeah! The season was great! And even if the Finals felt preordained, a ton of flukey injuries to key players ruined the playoffs from being fun.

I feel like this article is fake news and tomorrow the headline will be:

Counterpoint: this is a fluke-y season where great players could team up due to the salary cap jump of the last few years. As many great players are still under salaries that are relatively lower than the new collective bargaining agreemeny accounts for, it created a scenario in Cleveland and Oakland (and San Antonio)

I definitely watched this game too. It looked so beautiful reflected in the ORB.

(Glowing) ball is life.

This feels like a fluke season and postseason. Hopefully, the talent level evens out over time as the NBA puts this recent salary cap jump behind it.

It will be two weeks before the NBA sees another competitive game.

Fudging corksoaker.

If they reseed the playoffs, i.e. no East/West, there would be a better chance that the actual best four teams make the semis. The best four this season were GS, SA, Hou, and Cleveland.

All this is evidence that the current playoff is kind of butt and the NBA should re-seed all teams when the season ends.

On top of that, Cleveland is stacked with guys who can guard Thomas.

I take two walks everyday on my breaks at work, and sometimes a quick one at lunch to refocus. It’s incredibly refreshing; however, I still get ribbed by my co-workers for walking.

No man ever forgets the first dong he slaps.

“I wrote a monolgue about this...”

By killing a lot of higher education financial aid programs, this idiot is going to accelerate the next financial crisis.

I was a little bummed by the lack of Ducks coverage earlier in the postseason, but I just assumed there aren’t enough Deadspin hockey fans to support multiple posts on the sport.

At least this Wall connected on a shot.

I mean, isn’t a better solution to give repeat offenders longer and longer suspensions including and up to the point where they are banned from the league?

WTF is this buffoonery? Right, as if goon behavior won’t escalate to more dickish, goon behavior. Ask Rudy Tomjanovich why this idea is dumb.

A runner isn’t allowed to touch the baseball while running, why should he be allowed to touch a fielder (in any instance where the base paths aren’t being purposefully blocked)?
