A surprising runner up should be the end of First Blood, when Colonel Trautman confronts John Rambo. Rambo breaks down over what happened to him during the war and once he got back, and it’s a pretty amazing scene. He changes from some badass soldier, to just a scared hurting, messed up kid.

Easily some of the Best writing in any show ever. Even the finale, which wasn’t amazing, was still very good. And it was one of the best concluded shows ever.
