I couldn’t even find the comments on the laptop. Unfortunately a good portion of the time the comments 3 dots on my phone like a manipulative partner as is the same with other people.
I cooked some salmon in the office microwave. I apologized a hundred times, to no avail.
Vans are more practical for pretty much everything you just mentioned.
Oh, I’m so afraid of big man diesel blowing his dumb fucking soot at me. Really got me there!
Uh, you have lost your mind. I work for a dealer group with both VW and Volvo, and Volvo’s materials, design, fit/finish, refinement, and just general feel of build quality are leagues better than VW’s. And I say that as a 3 VW-owner.
“Modern Acura and Volvo are no more luxury than VW except in their own self-positioning.”
These prices seem deep into Acura & Volvo territory. Not sure why you would ever buy a VW SUV over an Acura or Volvo...
You know, our little dude can barely get his crushed peas to his mouth sitting still. I’m not sure adding over a g of forward acceleration is going to help.

You’re being polite calling it a wagon. This fucking thing has a major identity crisis. If shit came in cube shapes then it would look like this.
The Ford Flex gets way too much love on this site. It looks like shit, and it’s not a good car by any metric. Its only redeeming quality is being a ‘wagon’ in a market undersaturated with wagons, but nobody’s going to pay $13k for this example of the species.
The older I get the more I realize that it just makes them happy. A small percentage will actually use that winch. You look at David and his 1930's Jeep with skinny tires and sheet metal seat. He went to Moab and did the same trails as the massive bro-trucks that spent more in aftermarket do-dads than David did on the…
Will beltlines ever return to a reasonable height, or are carmakers trying to make their cars look like old men?
I agree completely. I have a sports car with a manual - but I’d never judge someone for not wanting to deal with it. Especially when it makes the car slower. I think most of the people who drone on and on and on about manuals are the same kind of people who comment on sports that they never played. They just think…
