“Can be spread” and “Is most likely to be spread by” aren’t the same thing. Skin-to-skin contact isn’t as likely to spread the virus as sexual contact. We need to be far less concerned with what bigots will do with information, since there’s no controlling that and they’ll make stuff up anyway, and far more concerned

When discussing infections diseases, it’s important to stick to facts. So when you say in your article that it was inaccurate to say it was a disease that spreads among gay men, you aren’t stating facts.
