It suggests the accounting department had more say in game design than they should have.

Just in case you were confused by the article blaming Democrats and showing a picture of Biden, here’s the relevant bit from the NPR article:

“Almost like someone who chose the name Manson for part of his stage name was always a POS?”

I agree - the whole Ainsley/Dixon thing was so weird. She just spilled the beans right away and didn’t expect any trouble. Very convenient. But that’s Felllowes. Could have left the whole story of the train deaths out imo and stuck with the society squabbles. But I have enjoyed watching this show sometimes in spite of

I’m with you. Was part of the union bargain for the writers to require a shoehorned in random insult about Joe Biden now?  That was how that read to me, completely out of place and also completely unexplained.

“Matronly?” JFC, stop it.

Well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

The fact that it happened while Trump was in office only made it sound more ridiculous.

Initially, it sounded like somebody made up a hate crime and threw every element into the book to make it sound like the worst thing ever, without thinking of how ridiculous it seemed: Red hats? “This is MAGA country?” Bleach? A noose? I mean....all of them at once?

I mean, it's like sending your army to invade your neighbor and not telling your soldiers until the last minute and not having a solid resupply plan.

But it does serve as an interesting reminder of the way Jeopardy!’s role as a deliverer/tester of general knowledge has to operate within a world where said “general knowledge” can often shift unpredictably.’

Exactly. Many people don’t understand that the key part of this story is that her idea was impossible. She could’ve attempted to build a time machine or a faster-than-light drive with the same results. People who told her it was impossible, got fired on the spot. She lied to investors, forged documents, people who

I don’t think it was Turner who sent the note to Agnes. I think it was *Church*.

I have the same question about presidential memoirs, honestly. Who actually reads those bricks, instead of just going to “The Atlantic” or “The New Yorker” or some conservative mag to read the review, which will give you all the best bits and some analysis without the bother of having to read eight hundred pages of
