He needed to stick a broom handle into the gears to stop time.  Though, strictly speaking, he’s never supposed to do that.

Who is the person arguing with you about Family Switch, the CGI in the movie, and whether the fart joke was was led to its poor critical reception?   Do you see the person in the room with you right now?

This feels like the decision to put Morbius back in theaters.

Milk-Makes-Sick

It does have a very prosaic name for a medical condition, like it was named by a four year old.

Majors also won the First Annual Montgomery Burns Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence.

Is Majors coming back?

I don’t think the key problem with the Robocop and Total Recall remakes was the PG-13 rating.  I think the problem with them was that they sucked.

If only these conversations were public, we might finally have an answer to the great Slapping v. Strangling debate that has torn our society apart.

If you want to portray people’s desire to watch television shows and not pay for them as some kind of grand protest against injustice, you’re welcome to your illusion.

Most action movies pitched at a mainstream audience are PG-13: all the Marvel movies, all DC movies other than Joker, all the Fast and Furious movies. all the Star Wars movies, all the Jurassic Park movies.

Whatever concerns you have about how much pay artists are getting through Netflix airing their shows or movies, it has to be better than piracy.  Because you know exactly how much money artists are getting from piracy -- zero.

I agree with you. If you went back 20 years, people would be astonished by how much free movie and television content is available to them, at the push of a button, whenever they want. I could see an argument for the virtue of letting people stream shows that had been removed from legal streaming platforms and were otherwise unavailable (not for sale on DVD, OnDemand, etc.) But it’s obvious Jetflicks wasn’t just doing that, since the most desirable shows to pirate are the the ones lots of people

I’m still really torn up about how Jack Nicholson had to die in 1980. I mean, The Shining is a great movie, and I get for narrative reasons why it made sense for Jack Torrence to die.  But I think Nicholson had a lot of great roles ahead of him.

Look, you asked the lady to make a toast.  You knew what you were getting.

I know it isn’t really your main point, but just for the sake of interest, by 1969, 52 percent of Americans said it was a mistake to send troops to Vietnam, compared to 39 percent who said it wasn’t.

I think you should consider the possibility that the AV Club author was not using the language in the way you are.

NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!

Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t the lead in Silver Linings Playbook, but your point is a good one.
