Ha! There was a mid 80's 500 SEC with blue/purple glitter paint, gold wheels and one of these kits in my neighborhood for years until 5 years ago.
Definitely needs front wing..but black paint...
I was just saying the other day, it’s a very rare car indeed whose looks are not greatly improved by lowering (or given the appearance of lowering, with skirts) its ride height.
The car in question was a 1st gen XC70 Cross Country that was tastefully lowered with decent understated wheels...it looked great.
Someone was telling me about some (random) bar in Colorado where the last song of the night is always “Proud to be an American” and everyone (stands and?) sings.
Probably one of those joints where the Budweiser employee got fired for accepting a Coors after the waitress got his order wrong.
Agree. I feel like one of the reasons it’s so hard to really get is that they’re not benefits from a consumer standpoint*, they’re selling points. Of course marketing will tell you that they’re benefits, that’s how selling points work.

hah! Owned a 76, then a 75 Scirocco in the 80's. The smell is real.
I’m certain he means safe for him not injuring himself crashing into a stationary object, or pedestrians who make sure and stay out of the way of the automobile.
Nice. I laugh when I see drunk drivers or child molesters hit the suburbs. Coaches and pastors are particularly amusing.

Our speed limit for residential streets was recently lowered to 20 mph, and someone was arguing that 35mph was safe and prudent.
I told him that as far as I was concerned, he was free to travel at whatever speed he felt was “safe” and/or “prudent” as…
:O
Holy cow, is that a 3rd gen Supra or a 2nd gen MR2 behind it.
Losing my patience with these morons. They’re bothering the local gimmick donut shop with that shit. It’s that assclown Alex Jones and his Qfuckwits.
Good point. I’ve seen lots of what appear to be dumb wrecks, I’ve just never* been involved in one. To be honest, I don’t think we should have to drive ugly, bloated, cramped vehicles with lousy visibility because people can’t avoid driving over the sidewalk or hitting parked cars.
*Full disclosure: after 30 years of…
Un-scientific poll. Show of hands anyone who’s been involved in a small overlap crash.
