Haha..right.. like a sporty Camry. But, nah, this was in the early 90's.

I was stuck behind a Priius in the left lane once, but they were doing 75 in a 50 through town, so getting annoyed was pointless.

“In Japan and Europe and other places”

I saw a Celica GT-Four in Portland, parked on the street. The reason why it stuck with me was because I did not know such an animal existed.

It was parked in the lot where this park is now.

Good think it’s Singh and no Un, or else we’d be grinding up moonrocks to go in the presidential limo.

Just as in the famous car chase from this legendary film. The bad guy’s car is cooler.

I saw one of these in the wild once, on Rannoch Moor in Scotland. I don’t know that it wasn’t a garden variety Virage, but the dude, while not caning it did appear to be driving with some spirit. It looked like something out of a car commercial.

No one is less smart than someone who leaves their car unlocked and running outside of a supermarket.

Parallel parking is my party piece, oh yeah.

...

Thank you. I realized a few minutes ago that I was thinking with my finger tips and stating what is essentially/should be obvious.

“what am I going to do with pickle juice?”
Drink it?

Mrs Plain is forever needing to tell me not to leave the pickles dry in the jar.
:D

I work in retail (high end outdoor) though I’m about as far from the sales floor as I can manage.

Lifetime, as I understand, means lifetime of the product. Any piece of gear has a general life expectancy. Products with a lifetime warranty are expected not to fail within a given period under normal use, for the lifetime

No.

And I say this as someone who was more than prepared to trade vital organs for a Corrado in VW’s somewhat dark take on the color.

I despise the color. That Panamericana tho.......I could make an exception for.

Some people say they’re over retro styling.

Perfect!

It’s the overwrought styling.

This kind of weirds me out sometimes too. It looks terribly dated next to a C7, but if you stop looking at the details, and look at the lines, the shape of the c6 is better than the C7.

And with a tasteful bodykit and wheels a la the 2nd video up there I think the details are equally good.

im

I swear I’ve seen that cab construction on a funicular railway car, snow cat and railway maintenance contraption.

win.

Now playing

20 years ago I moved to the UK, and was just beside myself that we got live WRC coverage on non-pay general broadcast terrestrial channels.

I saw this one afternoon after I got home from work.
