Do we have any news regarding Chiwetel Ejiofor? (I can’t fucking believe I nailed that on the first try, but I guess I’ve been watching the dude act in things since like 2004 so you’d think I’d get it by now)

I would bet that would quickly result in legal actions resulting in a definition of what comes out of the transporter as sentient/human/a person etc as well as laws that basically mean only one person is allowed to go in and come out, guidance on what happens in malfunctions, what to do with duplicates or code from…
So my guess is Strange finds her and either 1) promises to either teach her or find her a teacher and/or 2) will be keeping her safe/healing her or finding the clue to her safety/healing in the multiverse. What's less clear to me is how this will lead into S-MNWH. Obviously, multiverse chicanery. But why exactly? Why…
Look, I’m all for dramatically crashing eventually but I would hope we get as many flights as possible out of it first. The more flights, the more data points, the more useful in replicating and upscaling future projects with the same or better technology.
Well, i for one am pulling for the Cillian Murphy turning into Cillian Murphy gag that would singularly justify not just this show but the entire MCU’s existence to me in a matter of seconds.
I took a poll of fifty-seven billion people and 97.1048% (there were like three billion amputees) didn't think two polls were necessary. 👀
Jesus, these companies are so damned impatient. They never seem willing to just...let the numbers be what they are and acknowledge the brand is a WIP. I guess i can sort of understand it for older brands like WB and HBO who don’t want to be “shown up” by some newer companies, but even then prior streaming services…
I just think at this point people have their “favorites” so the only new characters that stick tend to be one of the following:
Yeah, the few new characters who do any sort of sticking around tend to sprout up in groups, but even then they either disappear, get used as a red shirt for some sort of sad, gruesome, or even comical gag or plot point, or slip into background extra mediocrity to eventually either disappear or get used as a red shirt…
I’ll be honest, i love everything about this show with the exception of Burnham. And I don’t hate her, i just think they don’t do a good job with her. They constantly revert her for drama’s sake or else they just plaster over weird character decisions. I really wish they’d keep her consistent with a well paced arc but…
Oh, the steamer?
You can't possibly want to hurt me enough to answer this.
First off, let’s just start this off with the fact that NASA plans contingencies for all sorts of circumstances. They literally have people on the payroll whose express job it is is to be ready to give solutions to issues, teams ready to survey any issues they didn’t foresee, etc.
Oh. So it’s another group of astronauts in a movie who don’t behave like astronauts intensely debating a question with not just an obvious answer, but one which there is literally no agency on Earth sending people to space who haven’t covered that question and answer?
I’m not a stan. I think a lot of the issue is in tone and characterization, which you don’t get to blame fully on the pandemic. Certainly having to cram was an issue, but come on, there were other avenues to go down with budget and time constraints. That’s a failure of imagination succumbing to pressure and deadlines…
And I’ll be honest, i doubt CW (or whstever the Network ends up being called down the line) is fully done with SPN. I think they learned while the main show is on they’ll never get a spinoff working but i can pretty much guarantee we see either a reboot with a different cast make up aimed at teens or a spin off of the…
Got you, I just had to be sure because some people have WILD opinions lmao.
Well that feels like the Devil’s last joke for that show, and kind of on brand and makes it ironically less bad.
I’ll be honest, similar comic reader experience my whole life- you’re absolutely right about everything snd yet Garfield has still been the best in both sides of the character to me. Not as in “oh, that’s the comic Peter” but as in who gets the concept of “nerd outside the popular social structure who is a bit gifted,…
Bahhhhahahaha.
