Eh...I love Keanu. And I don’t think he’s a terrible actor. But he’s also not...great. he’s pretty good at bodying the broody, silent type who prefers action to words. But his voice isn’t a superheroic voice. I tried imagining him as Nova or Doom as had been suggested by some outlets, and it wasn’t there.

They’re a product. In that way, they are exactly the same as comics to a commodity obsessed executive. Bah! to the creatives for whom corporate mandates already interfere and they must work around. Humbug! They'll work or we'll cast them off and use branding language to fuck them over just like these imprints.

I dunno why people are getting so upset. This is how companies just work now. Whatever your company of choice, there will come a day when they will have someone in a high enough position say, “hey, we need to change things up.”
