A MKVII GTI can be had at or near 20k, the MQB platform has brought a lot to these cars. Will give Brian plenty more utility and practicality while still maintaining his Jalop-cred. I am absolutely in love with my 2016 Golf R and I’m sure the GTI delivers just as great an experience.

I live in the snow, in mountains that see 700" most years. I’ve been drifting cars in it for decades. Unlike that guy demonstrates, it’s possible to drift in the snow (and gravel) with lots of oppo without constantly stabbing at the throttle, redlining, and sawing at the wheel. It’s called grace.
