Also worked in retail, same story. We FREQUENTLY walked into a women’s restroom that had been utterly destroyed... we’re talking shit on toilet, the floor, the walls, etc. One time, there was a gigantic pile of runny shit ON TOP OF THE TOILET TANK. Like, that wasn’t an accident — someone actually would have had to

I also kinda wish they’d kept the eyepatch, although it was a nice touch that Thor’s eyes were two different colors afterward, as the eye he got from Rocket was a sort of orange-yellow hue.

I saw Jennifer’s Body in the theater because my guy friend really wanted to see it (he actually loves Amanda Seyfried). We were both pleasantly surprised that it was way more than just a generic horror story.

I can’t remember if I’ve posted this before, but here’s a short and just slightly spooky one.

Also, deadlift is so functional. Think about how many times a day you reach down to pick something up from the floor. I’m not saying I ALWAYS keep a proper hinge position when I reach down, but it’s something I think about much more often now. I carry heavy video equipment as part of my job, and picking up a camera

Elizabeth Olson has really grown into the role. The expression on her face when she dusted away (while cradling Vision’s body in her arms) was almost as bad as Peter Parker whimpering that he didn’t want to go. She’d lost her parents, then her brother, then was blamed for a horrific accident and labeled someone to be

Yes! I’ve also been waiting for Wanda to get the Reality Stone and figure out a way to bring Pietro back (probably won’t happen, but still — seems obvious).

I enjoyed Future Man way more than I ever expected. It took so many delightfully bonkers twists throughout the seasons.

My neighbors (like two houses down) have this fat, solid black cat named Ron Swanson. He is literally THE friendliest cat I’ve ever met in my life. The first time he came into my yard, he saw me sitting on the patio and immediately jumped in my lap and started purring. Now, every time he’s outside and he sees me come

I think it’s more they probably just love strongly scented human clothing. My little cat LOVES my super sweaty post-workout clothes. I’ll come home from the gym and strip off, throw them in the bathroom floor, and when I get out of the shower, she’s literally rolling around on them and just having a grand old time.

YES! My friend and I cheered when Thor, Rocket & Groot arrived — for a brief moment it seemed like all was not lost.

I was also really surprised at how much I loved Thor’s storyline in IW. And if you’d told me 10 years ago that some of the most emotionally compelling moments of the MCU movies would frequently involve a talking raccoon, I’d have thought you were crazy.

Yeah, I could deal with the three-movie-a-month limit (seems reasonable and sustainable), but once they started blacking out showtimes, I was done. The email claimed they’ll offer “up to six movies a day.” However, for the past week I would check and I would only have the option to see limited showings for two movies

Same. Regal is close enough for me to walk, and they’re the only theater in the city with reserved seating AND recliners. It’s my go-to for movies. Both AMC (really old, shitty theater here) and Cinemark (30 minutes across town) offer subscription plans so I keep hoping Regal jumps aboard because they’ll definitely

Yup. I just got the email about how they’re only offering “up to six movies” per day that you can go see. Right now the only thing I could go see is The Meg or Slenderman, and there are only a handful of showings of those (most others are blacked out). I was okay with the “three a month” model, but I am NOT okay with

I have had some success with the baking soda/vinegar/boiling water trick, but I did have to do it twice in my sink before the clog came loose.

The Roomba is a life-saver. Picks up both litter AND fur while I’m at work!

I don’t think that’s crazy. I remember people asking me if I thought The Dark Knight or Iron Man was the better movie back in 2008. I answered similarly — I thought TDK was a better movie overall, but its bleak tone is a bit much. I will watch IM over and over because of how fun and joyous it is.

I remember when Qdoba first announced their “guac always free!” deal. When I added up the price of my usual burrito WITH guac, it came to slightly less than what they charge for burritos now. I was like, “right, so now they’re just building the cost of guac into the burrito.” Clever marketing ploy.

I also want to throw in a plug for Girls Gone Strong here, for any ladies out there looking for a solid resource on fitness for women:
