As a WTF holy shit Scandal episode lover, I agree, it could have been spunkier. However, this season had spunk to spare so I think it's good that its point was to set up a new season with a clean slate.

You fans? So you're not a fan? Then why do you watch?

So you're saying you saw them imprisoning command after he basically wiped every trace of B613 off the map coming?

It was neither. In fact, it was pretty good actually, and not predictable like some people on here would apparently like it to be.

Yes, thank you. Suspension of disbelief is a tool you need to employ to enjoy Scandal, and I thought that episode was actually really good. It's supposed to entertain, and that it does.

Ok I'm gonna come straight out and say it: this was a great episode in my opinion. It was fast, it was fun, it was twisty and intense - it's what I look for in Scandal. It was a new kind of storyline I hadn't seen on another show and I'm liking it. Is it season 2 Scandal? No. Is it still entertaining? You betcha! Are

Jake isn't dead, ABC released stills from next weeks's episode showing him wounded in Olivia's bed. Total fake out.

I assume you must have it on good authority that that is the case, since you state it with such confidence. I for one think he's doing a terrific job as Finn, I only wish he got a little more to do.

I'd love to come to your party but I have a Happy Babies binge-a-thon I totes can't reschedge.

A horrible speech impediment which I must've never noticed because I find no difficulty understanding everything he says.

I'm fairly confident that B-613 is ending this season. However, I'm not ruling out that a large portion of next season will deal with the much 'badder' C-724, compared to which B-613 looks like a kindergarten class run by Barney, the purple blob of kiddie terror.

It has potential. It was cute and the jokes that landed were pretty good, the ones that didn't also didn't make me gag, which is more than I can say if some other new shows I checked out this year. Sutton gives a flawless performance as well. It's worth checking out and sticking around for.

She was fine. At the moment she's more of a type, but I think it's in part due to the fact that her character is the type A young, trendy girl there to show Sutton Foster the ropes, which is flat so far. She makes it work, though.

It's James, I think, but I'm quite sure calling him Fidel in this instance was intentional.

Eli raising his eyebrow at Alicia at the very end was my favorite part of the episode. Gold is the most appropriate last name for him and Alan Cumming continues to play him with such panache.

"There is such a straight Gilmore Girls migration to this show: Liza Weil, Keiko Agena, now Emily Bergl (Francie) as Cyrus’ first spouse."

Where'd you get Elizabeth Brown? Her last name is North.

I don't think you quite got the essence of the comment, let alone the sentence it was referring to.

"…although any of the men involved should have known that the couldn’t be the father of someone they hadn’t slept with in over a year." I sure hope no one is the father of anyone they've slept with, ever!

What a play on words.
