You seem nice!
You seem nice!
Yep! It’s pretty tiresome. And even when they have a good point to make, I promise if they wait five minutes a woman will come along and make it.
It’s not unusual for the top four or five comments to be from this tiresome pack of dudes who seem to think their banal opinions are absolutely indispensable.
And, as ever, the top two comments are from men who comment early and on absolutely everything.
I’m curious about that interview, because while I enjoyed the Deuce one of my qualms about it that I was discussing with my best friend is that I feel like there is SO MUCH gratuitous nudity that adds nothing to the plot or storyline. I have no problem with nudity in movies/tv when I feel like it serves a purpose,…
“My wife’s Spidey -sense has always tingled about this guy being a creep.”
Is it weird that one of the first people I thought of was Alison Brie? BIL is a creep, yikes. And she and her husband are tied up with him professionally.
“Oh no, not James Franco too,” said No One Ever.
I wonder how The Deuce is going to handle the allegations surrounding Franco. David Simon and the other showrunner were on Fresh Air and a large portion of the interview was about depicting sex work and pornography honestly and avoiding unnecessary nudity.
Never forget: first she came for the Root. I sure haven’t. She’s a racist piece of trash who got pissed because she didn’t get away with being racist, like she has the whole rest of her life. Since that ish wasn’t tolerated, she came over here and tried to victimize some more people. Girl, I don’t play that.
..........loving ALL of this!..............
OMG! Another person knowledgeable of admin law!
“Arbitrary” and “capricious” are two words I hate the most. Mostly because people think a governmental action they don’t like is always “arbitrary and capricious” without understanding that those are terms of art for the failure to follow administrative processes. But…
Melanin.
Shorter Version: Colluding with Russia to steal an election has consequences.
This is a great example of why “The President has the power to do X” doesn’t mean the same thing as “The President can do X for whatever reason he feels like.” Fundamental to the modern administrative state is that the Executive’s power is not unlimited; a decision cannot be “arbitrary and capricious.”
I loved this. It was so random and so Tyra. After unnecessarily creating a scenario where she gets to play the thoughtful benefactor (when she could have just allowed 15 finalists from the beginning) she still had to find a way to insert her own wacky self-mythologizing into Erin’s emotional moment:
Serena Williams is on the cover of February’s Vogue, with her very cute, somewhat skeptical looking daughter, Alexis…
I love this dumb show so much. Tyra is an absolutely ridiculous person and I can’t look away. I get so invested in these ladies. Already want to slap the Idaho girl. I’m so excited about this season though! Most of the girls seem awesome!
