Seriously, I just want competent candidates that won’t get taken down by a scandal who can win. They don’t have to be my best friend. It’s not like it’s Al Franken saying he wants to run. If FDR came back from the grave and said he wanted to run again, I’d say let’s see how he does in the primary.

I love Biden too. Shit, I almost named my dog Biden! But his constant “hinting” at running (or not!) is fucking it up for younger progressives who should run in 2020. He knows people love him and he is taking advantage of that love for a temporary ego boost.

Um isn’t this exactly what he should do? Biden should run with a much younger up and coming Dem as VP (like Harris, Gillibrand, Booker, Kennedy III, Murphy, Klobuchar, Schiff, Castro). He is in the WH for one term and then passes the torch in 2024...

The Howard Dean said on Morning Joe that older Democrats need to retire. He later clarified on NPR that he is not going anywhere. Also, it wouldn’t be helpful for Pelosi to resign now but she needs to transition out.

Well, I’d take Biden over Sanders in a primary— that’s for sure. But I’d rather have someone new run— like Harris, Gillibrand, etc. And if Sanders won the primary, I’d vote for him over Trump in a heartbeat.
