Yeah I saw the trailer and I agree with the comment below. I like that there is an Asian actress in the lead role, but it still has a lot of white guys.

I liked Set it Up and I’m looking forward to more Netflix romcoms, hopefully with more diversity in the the lead roles.

Yeah, that was what put me off too. Especially with a movie marketed towards teens/young women, it seemed irresponsible to normalize his anger issues. It would have been helpful to have an epilogue or something that showed him having dealt with that problem.

Yeah, it’s so infuriating to think back to that time. I wish I could go back just to tell myself to dump his ass long before it even came to him dumping me, but oh well. You live and learn.

Definitely. And TBH in Kissing Booth I did kind of like that she got to hook up with the hot guy, rather than settling for the nerdy brother like in a typical rom com(who was still cute of course).
