Holmes' apology scene made me think of that episode when Joan was kidnapped (? or saved from some kind of danger?) and with Holmes twitchy trembling glee one foot away from Watson, and Watson calmly accepting that as his virtual hug.
Exactly. From the start of the show I thought she was going to be the super-evil-bitch-villain. Oh well. I guess we're so used to the cheesy soap opera methods of yesteryears. The future is now!
Aww, Detective Carter. I miss her.
It went with Cooper and TARS into Gargantua.
Speaking of Eva Green, I've always thought that she and Amy Acker look similar.
Root: You should have let me kill her.
John: It won't bring Shaw back.
Root: (bitchy glare)
John: You're right, I should have let you kill her.
When Greer lights up the tobacco, Martine looked teary eyed. Sadness or guilt maybe? Or tears of awe and joy?
Yes! It reminded me of the Machine when it was frantically trying to search for positive outcomes even after Shaw was shot.
Any ideas why Martine seemed sad (or pensive? or less soldier-robot/terminator-ish?) in this episode? Even during the snow bitchfight, she really didn't say anything at all or at least the camera didn't show the usual rage in her face.
She always TRASHES a lot of episodes. Her critiques are extremely inferior and reveal a lot about her … background. I have always maintained that AV Club should fire her and replace her with a mature, intellectual reviewer. The Sopranos and Breaking Bad got excellent reviewers.
The Good Wife (after the 2nd or 3rd season?) had promotional posters entitled "Don't let the name fool you."
The actress who played Frankie is 37??!! I thought she was 21 at the most.
I loved it when Jane as Juana awkwardly-sexily shook her thick ass wig while typing on her laptop! Hilarious!
She also wore wigs in White Collar, especially in her past photographs.
I had to stop watching at the Alba/Xo scene. They're so believable as mother-daughter! So touching!
I loved Petra's automatic head-turn-and-eyes-open the millisecond her mother stood up! Funny!
Bell had a police team swarming around them. Holmes knows better than to steal their thunder every damn time. He can't work every case, ya know.
He was a good character in American Horror Story: Asylum though. A Jewish investigator if I remember correctly. This actor has a very broad range!
No, you didn't like this episode because it wasn't comedic or guns-a-blazing. POI cannot have an orgasmic episode everytime. In the end, you're really just one of the millions of sheep watching a screen. How entitled do you feel now?
