I think he was saying that if you have a bench seat, you must tilt the seats forward since you can’t go through the middle. Thus, captains chairs are better for getting to the third row when having carseats

Tchyeah! 2017 Highlander with the captain’s chairs here. Great CUV minus the turd of a infotainment system.
The center seat serves as sort of a DMZ for the kids, holding snacks, crafts, activities, chargers, etc.
Hold up. You have a 2018. That means, unless you just had two kids and a dog since you got it, you were fully aware of the need of a larger vehicle for these trips. You should have at least got a 3 wagon. (Also, you should have gotten a real engine in that 3)
I sat in one of these recently, for the first time ever, actually. I’m a lean 6'5" but, it didn’t matter how lean I am, my head was still going to hit the roof. I was very saddened by that fact...
I meeean, that is what I’d do. For 33-35k I’d get a slightly used Golf R too. But, I know some people that still aren’t converted and still ignore the fact that hatchbacks and wagons are the only vehicles that should be made outside of sports cars and commercial vehicles.
I think this is a nice buy for between 25k-30k. It cuts below it’s competitors but you get less refinement, while getting premium features.
Has anyone seen this thing from the rear!?!?! Its FUGLY
This car always has looked good from afar and when I squint and shake my head a bit. Then, when it is clear.....I squint and shake my head.
Aren’t there still some of these in showrooms? Sooo, it’s basically like they are still being made.
It’s because of the word ‘team’ in team sports. If Tiger Woods said he played in a tournament because they paid him a bunch of money, no one would care.
Hot take, 13 year old interior is dated.
Right? Data shows she didn’t have her hands on the wheel for 80 seconds, and she even admitted to being on her phone! Sure, let’s trust this one on the brakes randomly failing at that time. $5 she freaked when looking up from the phone and pressed the accelerator.
Is no one going to comment on the GIANT freaking Acura badge??? WTH, calm down Acura. This isn’t a pickup truck.
Couple counterpoints, but I get what you are saying.
Per my buddy that worked at a car dealership for 10 years, yes he does have leverage. He can eat into his commission and he can push the manager to make the sale. Also, the biggest thing is that he doesn’t play hardball with you from the get go. It’s all a negotiation and he makes more money the more profit he brings…
BS, you read, possibly skimmed, this article, read his comment, replied and aren’t in the grays!
Dangit, they were good!
