Idk, but at my company it’s just about the brand. I bought a 2006 330i for only $6800 last year and people started looking at me differently. I got multiple comments like “Ohhhh, fancy car.” and another relating how I just got a promotion to buying a snazzy car (the promotion didn’t come with a raise). It was really

All I hear you say is how you and you’re friends/family have great luck with Chrysler products. That’s anecdotal evidence and it will always be way less than what CR is able to obtain. I’ve been an off and on subscriber and I don’t think I’m off, btw. If you think that a 200-400 sample size per year, per model is

You kinda sabotaged your claim if reliability right there by saying your family leases. No duh they are good for 24-36k miles.

That’s the dumbest thing I've heard on the internet today. Have you looked into how Consumer Reports gets it's data? It's from people like you and your family reporting issues that they have had. It is of course going to vary from year to year, that doesn't mean it isn't reflective of the market as a whole.

Once I, and everyone else, sees this in Consumer Reports we will still think they are piles of crap.

I actually really liked them when they made sense. Back when BMW didn’t have 100 models and the first number was the series, the next two were the displacement, then you might get an ‘i’ for fuel injection or a ‘d’ for diesel, or if you fancied a coupe, you’d get a ‘C’ too. Then, if you spent some big bucks, you’d get

Where you getting these aerospace cars?! I needs me one!

Thank you for confirming my paranoia of letting people test drive my car without me. I’m currently selling so no solo test drives to any of ya!

It’s a sad world we live in, eh? That we’re always waiting for there to be a revelation about how that good dude is a terrible dude.

Killed his close friend in a street racing incident AND cultured relationships with underage girls.”

Now, the end of the month thing may not work for the dealership as a whole, but the end of the month for the salesman may. I’ve been to at least 3 dealerships where they have the sales numbers posted in a visible spot and they have each salesperson’s numbers up there too, with targets. Find the dude/ette* that has the

Some dealers have some really shitty terms on aggressively “good” financing. By shitty terms I mean there’s really bad prepayment penalties. Just read the fine print. Always read the fine print.

Damn, that’s crazy. I’ve had a dealer mark their cars $2k less because they always include a minimum trade in of $2k (yet their cars are always priced at normal market value) and they don’t tell you on their Autotrader ads. I’ve also walked away without saying anything, that was because they required a credit check

electronic rust control”

Joking aside, this happened to me. I went to Chicago (about 3 hours) to buy a new Highlander. The dealer had installed some really nice options, running boards, body side molding, paint matched door edge guard and all weather floor mats...cool, I want those. But, they also installed some sort of “protection package.” I

At that stage in his career, he was just too beaten up from taking it to the rim so much.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but those clearly do not match. One has a black roof and hood, the other doesn’t.

As someone that will never buy a Corvette that has already been made...this looks goooooood.

Butt ugly.

But.....ugly.
