I don’t disagree with you about the Tundra. Although, if you care about resale value you can’t beat a Toyota pickup truck. It’s insane the value they hold. Buddy of mine just sold a very clean ‘06 for over $16k.

Me personally, I’d be hesitant to buying a higher mileage truck without a stellar maintenance record. Trucks can get beaten up/driven hard and you don’t want to be left with a turd. There’s also the option of adding those options in yourself on the lower trim trucks. Leather, heated seats, cooled seats, a new stereo…

I suggested it in another thread but, used car comparisons/reviews. Work with Tom to come up with cars within a certain budget and goal and test them. But, please don’t test how clean it is or other stupid stuff that is only that way because of the owner.
