I agree with most of these, but the real problem with Dollhouse is right in the article: too short, not too long, of a run. Heroes is the standout example of "should've ended after one season." Man that first season was fun.

Oh, I agree with Kraken. Futurama is far funnier (and smarter about it) than American Dad. AD has its moments, but a sizable chunk of it is n the same style as lazy, late-era Family Guy. I still watch both those shows when I can, and enjoy them most of the time, but Futurama slays me.
It's from one of the later episodes, "Mobius Dick." I forget the exact setup, but they're trying to harpoon the space whale, looking for someone with experience. Amy chimes in with "No, but I spent a semester harpooning giraffes in Africa… and giraffes are basically land space whales!"
Holy crap… didn't know these were coming! Super excited for Futurama reviews. My second favorite joke featuring the word "harpoon" in this series just happens to be in episode 2.
Jesus, that Darkwing Duck intro is beautifully done. Never played that one but now I kinda want to.
But it draws the eye away from how incredibly low-waisted I am!
I was at a concert featuring a bunch of washed-up 90s ska bands, and one of them randomly did a shoutout to John Stamos. I yelled "Stamos!" rather loudly and got a lot of weird looks.
Man, Abe's face in that episode makes me uncomfortable every. time. It made me dislike the knork plotline which I now find pretty funny, I just have to not watch Abe keep slicing his face open.
"This show is so packed with specificity that it’s near impossible to register it all."
But Specificity be the enemy of unity!"
It always bugged me that a line on the floor would STILL be horizontal…
…and Also the pie.
These two episodes were definitely among my least favorite. Though I did enjoy GESH, from the Colonel Sanders principal to the ridiculous Philly Phanatic mascot.
Absolutely! More! Haven't gotten to many of the best bits yet.
Well, I suppose you're right… "…creating sleeper agents and manipulating…" is a pretty precise way to describe Bester. I don't think anyone would say the Drakh rank among the best elements of B5. They worked for me though; maybe I'm too ready to forgive the issues with the last season. Except Byron. Hated Byron.…
Re. Crusade, I enjoyed it… but it was a little empty compared to B5. I do wish it had gotten a longer run, as there are elements that fascinated me, but it's certainly not the travesty of early cancellation of a Firefly (OK, nothing is, but take my point here). I get why the network couldn't keep this one going. I…
I have to disagree about the Drakh. They were meant to be unlike the other antagonists of the series in that they were an unseen enemy none of the "good guys" were really cognizant of. Putting the kind of face on them that most of the other antagonists had would have undermined that. How would they hide in the shadows…
