I think the thing that sank it for me when comparing Cox with Hopkins was the sucking sound Hopkins made after his "Fava Beans" comment .Pure camp Dracula. The first time I watched the movie I was going "Why the HELL didn't they get Cox" after that scene.

I would SERIOUSLY disagree with the last paragraph, because , basically , the Anthony Hopkins Lecter is without a doubt the WORST of the Lecters. The Brian Cox version, all 5 minutes of him , in Manhunter , appears HUMAN, where the Hopkins version is this generations Dracula, scary voice, scary MUSIC

***SPOILERS***
Yeah, he's around till the end .

****SPOILERS****

Quinlan , next to Setrakian, is probably the best character in the series of books, as they BOTH have serious history with The Master . And Quinlan's origin story should take up a good 20 minutes in a following story (but maybe in the third season) .But they have to stick the landing with The Master's

No, she didn't look happy. It looked like she was having an orgasm.

What I REALLY want in the third season is the full origin stories of the Master & Mr Quinlan . And have Guillermo film them as well, like he did in the opening of this season .

I've got bad news for all you guys. If they adhere to the books. Zach's in it til the end( and that means a third season , if they have one) . And you're probably not going to like the season finale either.

I'd still vote for Ian McShane .When Sherlock continually mentioning of his father as a bastard, old Sweringen would fit the bill nicely.

I vote for Ian McShane.

I fear that while Oscar might have bruises from Holmes repeatedly kicking him in the face , he is not long for this world, when Moriarity finds out about him .

The only way I'd see a remake is if they get Jason Alexander to play the husband, seeing as the movie is based on a classic Costanza moment from Seinfeld.

So…Ed Harris is the head of a motorcycle gang?

Hmmmf.. No submarines in either one….

Right. I keep getting his name mixed up . I'm not sure a name or one non-connected thread should get a spoiler( not TOO "spoilerific" ) . Just glad to see that they're going there.

His name is Mr Julian, and he's shown up a bit early.Still, it gives me hope they adapt the book pretty faithfully ( which will probably turn off a lot of viewers). If we see Max going to Pennsylvania, we'll know it is.

I kept thinking something was familiar this whole series, and last night it hit me, while I was watching HBO( forgive if this is old news) . Are Scoot McNairy and Kerry Bishe married in the movie Argo too?

For all the disappointment by people that Molly didn't get to kill Malvo, they should remember ; she never met him face to face ( I'm not counting shadows in a snowstorm) .Whereas Gus had met him fully twice & seen him 3 or 4 more times. And then Gus also got to tell him about the riddle Malvo gave him

I'm traveling , and usually don't want to comment until seeing an episode a second or third time,, but the bullet was definately in the cheek , but did it come straight out the back of the head, or the side .Because I'm hoping Chilton is alive , and is being put in witness protection by Jack , to preserve the

A long time ago , as a kid, I read a book called "The Moon is Hell" about what happens when some of the first lunar explorers return rocket sh*ts the bed . All about how they mine ice under the surface to make water & air , then make chemicals for food.It was really detailed, and engrossing. This book sounds a
