One of the most interesting(to me) posts I’ve seen on here in months! Got like 50lbs of coprolite at the lab i work at, it would be so neat to one day have images of whats inside next to each piece. I know it’s unlikely because particle accelerator, but still cool to imagine.

I used to want a TT until i drove one and realized my head barely clears (6' 1"),made it pretty scary to drive, cant see out side windows without slouching. Guess id have to get a convertible if i wanted one.

Wrong, in the 90s Mitsubishi ran vehicles in the Dakar T1 and T2 class, meaning it had to be a production car with production engine, with some mods. Suspension and driveline could not be drastically changed, only beefed up for higher stress or tweaked. I know they are still pretty different but much of the suspension

Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero! Dakar proven! there is a ton in south america, easy to get parts

you are totally correct, the guy in an SUV will experience higher forces, but if its body on frame and longitudanal(spellcheck?) motor, the fixed object will Generally only move so far in, plus one airbag to the face youll be ok. An 89 civic on the other hand can almost be cut by the tree or turned into an accordion

sell me your delica PLEASE

lmao i would never give an old little civic to any first driver, literally a death trap, with how cheap used modern ones are getting why risk it. That is a first car you got like 8 years ago. Today everyones driving safer and larger vehicles, you are gonna be the one worse off in most accidents. An older body-on-frame

This version of the pumpkin dance is better.

why dont they buy out one of the other telescopes on the mountain?

I’m lazy and not very informed on politics, is this good or bad for hillary? it’s bad right?

Also if it was auto and in park there is usually a feature where it will click loudly and allow car to roll if thrown into park before stopping. That should’ve clicked open and allowed the rear wheels to move under that much pulling force.

How do we know it’s not in neutral? couldn’t it be a manual in neutral with parking brake pulled? would only wear tires if that’s the case.

If theres no damage then the truck saved the guy a costly tow and a ride home.

I haven’t heard any of the new frank or chance because it’s not on spotify hahah

10/10 would pucker

These pulses, which have caused as much as thirty feet of sea level rise per century in the recent geologic past

Would use in my dorm, but that’s it.

I was thinking the beachfront condos in Florida should knock out the first floors and make the buildings into ocean living pier condos, connect them by bridges, access by boat or kayak.

Yeah i figured that, but one must assume the drought could end in 12 years or just 2 years? Ignoring the chance only prepares for disaster when it does happen. I’d be most worried about getting trapped down there in a flash flood.

No I live in Florida so i don’t know much about basements to begin with lol.
