It’s likely only that right wheel locked up, causing the uneven drag which tried to send the car right. Possibly due to uneven brake pads and/or not pulling the brake hard enough.

This is very common in Florida, It’s annoying but has happened to me several times on those smaller highways that have no lights, but turn lanes here and there. The semis will just pull right out when they have a decent gap, but the tight turn doesn’t happen quick and they just expect you to slow down or stop.
