It’s likely only that right wheel locked up, causing the uneven drag which tried to send the car right. Possibly due to uneven brake pads and/or not pulling the brake hard enough.

The semis will just pull right out when they have a decent gap, but the tight turn doesn’t happen quick and they just expect you to slow down or stop.
