I propose we start with requiring driver tests every 5 years after the age of 60. I live in Florida and i swear i saw an old man falling asleep on A1A yesterday, slowing and accelerating, listing out of his lane.

Fatal crash in 2015? typo?

i enjoyed this too much

I’m picturing several different groups of very well payed artists taking their time working on that carousel, and i’m sure some are bummed it’s finished because i’m guessing that was a sweet deal for anyone on it.

In the thumbnail i was thinking someone stanced an echo.

Some trucks/cars/SUVs that is actually true! Mitsubishi developed suspension on their SUV the montero (Pajero in other countries) to ride smoother at higher speeds off-road in the Dakar rally. Same stuff is put on the consumer vehicles, some speed bumps you can speed up and not feel them.

Watching this when im off work, thank you.

I’m excited only because this means my apple friends can never have the aux cord in my car, as i’m sure they’ll never remember to bring an adapter.

$24 million for this? i can understand 9 mil for the building, but FIFTEEN MILLION to restore the horses and carousel??? 27 years?? I would LOVE to see that price breakdown, but doubt there is one for public eyes. Maybe if they used the best artists in the world, but still i don’t know how that makes any sense.

10/10

For those of you wondering, it is an Aqua-Lily Pad i believe. A floating party mat, if you will.

It’s likely the moose didn’t “crap” itself, it was struck near the back where the intestines are. So it was like hitting an open tube of toothpaste with a bat, quite fascinating really.

Sooo if you want to keep your affected diesel VW and don’t want the fix because it’ll knock you from (random figures) 38 mpg, down to 31, you can? But choosing to not sell it or get it fixed will result in no money, i assume?

I had an internal battle with myself on whether or not you were trying to pass off a very realistic small model on us. I was jumping back and forth, the white background made it even harder. Eventually decided it was real after seeing the interior.

10/10 would slide it.

Notice they bubble up (very scientific term i know) the water where you’re going to land, that way you don’t have to land a certain way to pierce surface tension. No more butt/back/face bruises, it’s a nice touch and makes it idiot proof. I wish my summer camp lake with a blob had this.

I actually got the chance last month to explore & photograph 4 reactors and towers being built in TN that were halted some decades ago, really fascinating stuff.

yeah but your solid wood dresser is often less likely to do this, it weighs almost double. Yes the drawers are also heavier in solid wood, but not by much, still the setup has better balance all around in solid wood. The wood pulp ikea dresser has a very heavy top piece and the rest is cardboard in weight, and the

Shouldn’t it be live rounds or cartridges, not bullets? When i read Bullets in the title, i assumed he was just tossing the lead in.

What if you drill 2 holes, then start dropping rocks into a larger hole, which would cause water to pump out the other. That way there is no cavity left to cause sinking.
