Self-promotion and ego didn’t get the `94 team to the final-16, my friend.

Other qualities that propelled his ‘94 team to the final 16:
But if you have skill and talent and not those three qualities, you ALSO lose a lot. And if you’re the US, with medium-good skill and talent, and you don’t have those qualities, you lose to Costa Fucking Rica.
I asked what teams have ever won shit WITHOUT having those qualities.
Well, no soccer team has ever won shit without those three qualities and I will argue that it was those three qualities that propelled his `94 team to the final-16.
This is Gawker so take your common sense and ability to find hypocrisy on these sites somewhere else. They dont like that here.
I wouldn’t say that’s a strong lineup of RPGs ....
“not everyone here broke the law”
Dude (or dudette as the case may be),
I didn’t read past the first obtuse line the first time. Sure not gonna made a second attempt at four paragraphs of anti-American bigotry.
Pick whatever side you want, but at least be consistent with your choice of language. Being hyperbolic just because you think the other side is dumb is jarring.
This generic talking point makes no logical sense.
No visa, green card, or citizenship? You broke the law, if you’ve taken up residence within the U.S.
This is simple enough for children to understand, much less video game developers.
I’ll go one further: in sports, there is no such thing as “deserve.” There are only results.
This is indeed the smartest comment. There are X amount of spots. If they get one, then they deserved to get one. End of story.
Couldn’t you just Ctrl+F and replace “2018" with “2014? And then replace “United States” with “Mexico”?
This is dumb moralizing. If they qualify for the tournament, they deserve to make the tournament.
Yeah, because fleeing from Nazi occupied Holland in a World War is the same as breaking the law (same law that provides a way to get in legally) to get into a country to have a better lifestyle
That’s called a refugee. The vast, vast majority of illegal/undocumented immigrants move here for purely economic reasons. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t open our arms to them, but you’re comparing Apples and Oranges here.
meh, I'm kinda heartless when it come to things like this. When they didn't leave they broke the law. Simple as that. Laws are there for a reason, can't feel sorry for someone who intentionally broke them, not even if its a sad story. The law has nothing to do with emotions or feelings. Its logical and heartless as it…
