no it comes to one is an awesome race, and most nascar races are overpriced at shitty tracks. Its that simple
its a 7 point gap between 1st- (25) and 2nd (18) the point difference would be 14 points not 36

while it bothers me too, the short course is the last 2 s3 cut and hlaf the 3/4 mile straight cut..... its still section 1, and 3 so a good technical layout. If they want to give Nascars transmissions not based off 1962 designs, and you know more then 4 gears they could do real race tracks full layout.
they already did v8 supercars around the short circuit, they would just cut out the one longest straight... you would still get the S's complex, the whole sector 3 section, and start finish with turn one.... it would just take out the 3/4 straight and connecting turn or two afterwards.....

I like them both, but i like anything with a motor and 4 wheels..... Die hard road racing and f1 fan, but i love the craziness and closeness of Nascar.
People like Motorsports, and access to any form of high level motor-sports on a road course is going to draw a crowd. Just think how great it would be to watch 2 ton…
I have said for years, that the best Nascar races be it Nationwide or Sprint. is on F1 circuits either past or current.
Look at Watkins glen and the circuit de villeneuve. i personally dislike most ovals, and I would pay for a nascar race at COTA in a heartbeat..... god even the short course would be good. V8…
