what these corporate vultures forget is that power steering systems go into a lock when the pump is killed. Try turning off your car, and saw the wheel, it will tighten until you cant turn it anymore.


driving a car designed without power steering is totally different from the power steering failing randomly.

the city has everything to do with it, most roads in the country side are cambered, have higher speed limits, and can be taken at a higher average speed then flat city streets.

also alot has to do with badly calibrated audio mics at the track, making for flat car sounds on the tv feeds.
