I felt completely awful. Luckily in the 3 years I lived there that was the only reason we ever had any complaints.

I have been guilty of something similar. One night myself and my housemates arrived home drunk to our thin-walled apartment and decided to watch High School Musical (don’t ask why). At some stage we all passed out and the DVD went back to the opening menu and played the “we’re all in this together” chorus on repeat at…
Yup, my older brother tricked me into drinking dark beer telling me it was coke. I fell for this a lot more than once. #teamdummies
She is indeed a skincare goddess
All I can think of when I see the Burger King-i-fied Poutine is of one of our locally "delicacies" the AB. It's essentially chips (fries), yiros/gyro meat, cheese, garlic sauce, chilli sauce with a decent helping of regret on top. The below is probably the most appetising image of one I can find
I would honestly probably prefer scorpions in my Pumpkin Spice Martini than Candy Corn, because I imagine they would actually have some texture and flavour, but then I was never going to have a pumpkin spice martini anyway.
I'm sure we want you as much as this Kangaroo loves their new puppy friend (I hate to admit how much work time I wasted finding an appropriate Australian animal gif).
BUT Australia is the worst!! because how else can I engage people into stupid internet fights if I don't try and tell australians how horrible their…
Well I'm not sure is Australia wants another crazy radical feminist that loves koalas, but it definitely needs at least one more :-)
The first year of his "leadership" has been exactly like watching a car crash in slow motion, and I am genuinely terrified how much more damage he can do to the country in the next two.…
It's ghastly at the moment, it seems as though our politicians woke up one day and realised that they could win elections by fear mongering and raising hatred for "brown people" and of course at the moment the special butterfly that is Tony Abbott is leading the charge. I hold our constant hope that it will change, I…
Ugh as an Australian there is nothing worse than Australians insisting they're not racist. Just because we didn't have slavery doesn't mean we haven't had two and a bit centauries of institutionalised racism
Considering their breakfast sandwiches taste like apathy given form, I wish them good luck with that.
THIS! I just saw the Stones in concert and him and Mick Jagger blew me away. Mick Jagger at 71 is so incredibly fit, my guess would be significantly fitter than the average person half his age
Tyra says it all for me
I think a key thing missing from all of this coverage is the emphasis that it was a positive mitochondrial DNA match, not Nuclear DNA. Nuclear DNA is what we all think of when talking about DNA testing, in that no two people have the same DNA and you can properly trace back with a strong degree of confidence direct…
Also why I was incredibly confused by the lyrics to the theme of "The Nanny"
Absolutely, my father has Parkinson's and it definitely can impact on your state of mind, sadly the only medication that really helps is tremors also is known to have depressive side effects. The whole thing is just so freaking sad
My family are cherry farmers. The longer they have been off of the tree the more watery and less cherry like they taste. The fresher they are the greener the stems on them will be, which also correlates with their firmess. Big, dark ones with greener stems = delicious!
Yep, I used to get $20.69, then $24.50 for bar work, double on Sundays and Public Holidays. I would say our food pricing is about 20% more expensive than the states. We have a generally higher cost of living but our wages more than make up for it. I feel nothing but sympathy for my US family working hospitality.
And this is why I love Australian Rules Football. These men have still have to wear their booty shorts.
