Here’s hoping that he starts to piss off the rest of the democratic base. We should be better than this.

I feel like he’s just phoning it in. He’s making no effort. He comes across as someone who feels he has this in the bag.
Senator from MBNA was his goddamn nickname while in congress.
Not just banking. No Delaware politician gets anywhere without DuPont money, so when Joe paints himself as an environmental champ, its, how should i put this, not true.
Yep. I’m no kid—-Joe is less than 15 years older than I am—and I hope like hell that he gets out of the way like last week. Too old, too entrenched, way too establishment. Even if he wins, the republicans will walk all over him 10x worse than they did with Obama. Somebody has to tell him that not everybody gets to…
“ So how can we trust you to put us, the future, over the wants of large corporations and wealthy individuals?”
I used to fly 100+ flights every year (I’m glad to not do that anymore) and the number of people who slap a cheap orange vest on their mutts and call them “emotional support animals” is shocking. They know this is a loophole in airline policy and exploit it unashamedly.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT SERVICE ANIMALS AND ARE NOT PROTECTED BY THE ADA.
I mean I have worked on productions (Hyundai commercial) where exactly this happened, so it is not outside of the realm of possibility
I guess it depends upon who you choose to trust, but there was no ambiguity in what the employee experienced
Could very well be case of unconscious bias with what happened, like there wasn't a memo where someone wrote p.s. no POC should be working. Does not make any less fucked up though.
Philadelphia calls the cops on black people for sitting in Starbucks, so my money is someone at local Old Navy management trying to pull a fast one here. Naturally, Corporate is going to tap dance after the fact, but I doubt the show did this - it’s not a huge film production.
It’s still Bernie. Seeing as teachers are by far his largest contingent of support, Union members like him. He’s also the one pushing for extreme increases in labor rights in the United States.
The Democratic Party abandoned Unions decades ago and this was first glaringly evident when Reagan destroyed PATCO and they did nothing. The final twist of the knife came when NAFTA was signed totally against the policy of the AFL-CIO. There is no “free” trade when United States labor, safety and environmental…
Travolta and Alley are low-key horrible, individually, and a Volton of fucker when combined. I don’t know how you’re going to write about them and leave that out.
Your hate is both healthy and rational.
I don’t know why, but Brittany Murphy’s sad end haunts me more than just about any other Hollywood tragedy. I think because, in contrast to so many stories of tragedy, which tend to involve corruption and some kind of descent into drugs and illness, Murphy by comparison seemed naive and earnest in her desire to…
It seems like she was trying to treat cold with over the counter meds. Turns out she had pneumonia. None of the drugs in her body were illegal. It seems that her husband went the same way. Black mold wasn’t the cause of the illnesses.
They said it was pneumonia and the drugs thing was just that she had used a bunch of over the counter meds for colds and allergies, probably because she had pneumonia. The mold thing was apparently true.
They’re both child actresses with histories of Republicanism and former shows on the CW/WB, so that friendship tracks.
