NYPD is basically white people customer service. From what I remember from up to the late 00's, everybody else pretty much had an attitude of knowing they needed to defend themselves because the cops weren’t gonna do anything that didn’t benefit them.

Hart is really missing the entire point of everything that’s happening to him. For a guy that’s managed to get in damn near every movie, as well as be the buddy comedy go-to for The Rock, he is severely lacking in savvy and understanding.
