The Obamas are a class act, all four of them, and I maintain that Michelle is the classiest* First Lady since Jackie Kennedy. I will miss them sooooo much.

Honestly, the US didn’t deserve the Obamas. The crap we put them through was shameless, and they handled it with such poise and grace. Also, yay, National Parks!

If this happened in any other country the US would warn against travelling there. There was a recent travel warning about going to France.

In California, gun control legislation was tightened after a call to arms by the Black Panthers. Republicans were against gun control until the idea of African-Americans arming themselves was disseminated, and suddenly restrictions became feasible.

A friend of mine who’s a beloved sweetheart once had a screaming fit of a breakdown when Hollah Back Girl came on the jukebox at the bar. She had a fantastic rant about how she doesn’t care how cool and famous Gwen Stafani is, she’ll never be a Harlem Black Girl! I swear, everybody at the bar turned around, listened…

I didn’t understand “delete your account.” I thought it was more serious than it apparently is.

At 30 feet I put my right hand up for a fist bump and point at it with my left. The whole way I’m just pointing at it, at about 15 feet I start nodding repeatedly and slightly tilting my head as if to say, “You know what this is about!” and then we bump fists and keep walking.

I supported Bernie Sanders during the primary, but I am starting to turn towards Hillary. Trump makes George W. Bush look like a foreign policy expert. I liked Bernie’s ideas and I hope that Clinton adopts some, but I will stand with her as the next president of these United States. Whoa, that felt weird to write. But…

I keep waiting for the debate when he tells the moderator “your not being very nice” and the rest of the debate is just Hillary Clinton laughing and occasionally coming up for air to say “he thought people were going to be nice” before that sets her off again.
