This is like the anti-Supra. Understated instead of over-styled, distinct nods to its heritage. Give it the 400hp TT V6 and a stick, price it in the low-40s to compete with the Mustang GT and undercut the I6 Supra, and you’d have to win hearts and minds of enthusiasts everywhere, right?

The back end really reminds me of a 280 or a 300, but the front end does not match at all. I'm unconvinced by this car. That being said, back end looks sick and I love the fastback.

MSRP will make or break this car IMO. The Nissan Z appreciation club isn’t exactly known for their deep pockets and there’s a decent amount of stigma (not G35 level stigma, but stigma nonetheless) associated with the outgoing model.  And the brand overall, let’s face it. 

I want to know why on Earth they chose a Continental and not something that at least pretends to be aerodynamic. I mean, ten out of ten for style, but...

I’m surprised they didn’t realize those malaise era jet engines didn’t have enough thrust to move a full size boat like a Continental through the air.

Drugs were going to be my next guess. Remember, the period from 1970 to 1980 was when Baby Boomers were 20-30 years old. No brains + easily sources drugs = stupid crap like this.

Yup. The Switch does not feel in any way outdated to me.  I hope they keep it around.  If they do make a new one, I hope it’s 100% backward compatible and that all your games transfer over - because the Switch has one of the best overall libraries off any console and it would suck to re-start from zero.

For real. If there’s any current platform that deserves to have the same basically-a-decade-ish of solid support that the PS3 and 360 had, it’s definitely the Switch.
