This is my ‘67 parked next to my coworkers ‘12. His looks a lot taller, but mine has been lowered something like 6" or so front and rear. His is also 4wd, mine is 2. I don't really get how everyone says the new trucks are so much bigger, they really aren't. Reg cab to reg cab, they are almost exactly the same size.

yes, the brake lights would still work since the lights run completely separate from the fluid and master cyl. they are triggered by a switch that presses against the brake pedal under the dash. boiled off fluid would not cause them to stop working.
