@Little Green Frog: See, that enrages me. Christianity is supposed to based on the teachings of Jesus. This includes not being materialistic and putting others before yourself. These "Christian" figures are not living a life of true Christianity, although they are claiming to.

@morninggloria: My boyfriend and I discuss this a lot. We both grew up in very conservative Christian homes. We are now both liberal. Liberal ideals - helping the poor, elderly, and sick are much more Christian than so called conservative ideas.
