I'm LOVING the Grecian dress.
I'm LOVING the Grecian dress.
@pinkyBella: Not that there is anything wrong with this.
My boyfriend is more attractive than me. But my sister is more attractive than her boyfriend. She is gorgeous and she dates not-so-great looking guys.
@Archetype: I have a huge face too. Which is why I'm not getting a Victoria B. crop, just a few more inches off, which will be pretty short for me. I've always had long hair b/c it's curly, otherwise it would be an afro if cropped close to the head :-)
@Archetype: You should do it. I'm going to get mine chopped next week!
That last gown at the end really is beautiful. It looks like golden whipped cream.
Really, Us, really? I mean, good lord.
@rosasparks: That is so sweet, you sound like an awesome mommy! I think my dad did the same thing. He never got the love he wanted as a child, so he showers it on me. He is very over-protective, but I have to understand where he is coming from. Also, it doesn't help that his side of the family all have…
@rosasparks: What an awful situation. My father's childhood was similar. His father was never home because he worked so much and his mother was an alcoholic. He walked in on his mother passed out drunk on the floor with a head wound and blood everywhere one day. After that, he was sent to boarding school to get away…
@Archetype: I've let it go as well. My sister and mother have also. You're right, it is just a waste of energy. I know she does love me, but she just has mixed-up priorities.
@Archetype: I think we have the same grandmother. She told my father that he wasn't smart and she has always made it clear she doesn't really like him. She also would tell my sister she dresses bad, and that she needs to dress more like me. This coming from a woman who has horrible taste herself.
@Sweetie: Yuck. I hate that. It makes me want to vomit on the people that say those things.
@pinkyBella: *me. Wow. I don't think I've ever butchered a word so badly.
@Archetype: My mom's mother is not very loving or emotional either. When I lived at home and close to my grandmother, she never called me or made an effort to see mow, but now that I live 300 miles away from her, she's always telling me how much she misses me and wishes I would move back home. Does not compute. And…
Both of my parents are pretty loving and spoiled me (in a good way). No one can really say who is more responsible for messing children up. Every household and family is different. But my aunt is totally messed up due to my grandmother and is in turn messing up my cousin (her daughter). The cycle never ends.
@StaceyofLiberty: LOL. I, unfortunately, caught a glimpse of my father coming out of the shower when I was little. I was traumatized, and still am.
Man, could you imagine if she was your grandmother?
@snowboardervxn: I thought I saw a picture of him in one, but I really couldn't tell if it was shorts and a bad angle.
@sympathyforthedevil: I kind of like the Orbit advertisement, too. But I really like birds, so maybe I'm weird.
Root Beer vodka makes me want to hurl, too. I hate root beer.
