@ASmallTurnip: I'm not really feeling it either. But I don't get sappy at these kinds of tributes, I think they're kind of corny sometimes. Am I totally heartless?

@ElleL: oohh. I did too. So personalized ;)
I have such empathy for Caroline Kennedy, she's lost her mother, father and brother. My father has lost all of his family except one brother. I know how hard it is, I admire her strength.
@Archetype: I liked it too. In fact, I finally had a chance to look through this issue this weekend, it's been sitting on my coffee table for a week.
@unionmaid: I'm not saying facts don't matter or that because a few people do something, that the whole group does it. I was simply stating that in some cases, certain people do try to take advantage of the system. A lot of people on here were saying it doesn't happen, it may not happen very often, but it does happen…
@Archetype: Of course not, and generalizing that all people on welfare who get pregnant to get more money is to trivialize their circumstances. I wish there was a more clear-cut solution. Unfortunately, I have heard so many pitiful stories from my mother (a teacher) and my father (a police officer) about children…
@Archetype: I have seen this too, unfortunately. My mother is a teacher and taught at a poverty-level school. She had mothers tell her that they kept having children so they could get more money from welfare. I'm not saying a lot of people do it, but it does happen.
@Cry4Hemp: Yeah, I read the People article and it says she plans on returning to work in November to do the Victoria's Secret runway show. Gag.
Also, Tracie, the screen grabs you pick are priceless.
@bananaballs: So much dumb in that interview, it makes my head spin.
@sybann: I was thinking the same thing.
@stacyinbean: Yea, they are sexy without being trashy, and if you have the right body, it can look totally killer on you.
Barf. Those tuxedos sound disgusting. I'm sick of people being obsessed with weddings. When and why did this happen? Why can't people just enjoy their wedding for what it is (you know, making a lifetime commitment to someone you love), instead of stressing over it and making it a spectacle?
Am I the only one that kind of likes the bandage dresses? I'm sorry don't hate me!
I was just discussing Saudi Arabia with some co-workers on Friday, and they didn't even know women weren't allowed to drive there. When I started getting more in depth in the conversation, they pretty much peaced out. They didn't want to talk about something so "boring," I guess.
How horrible. This makes me so thankful for the life I have.
I use the men's room if there is a long line for the women's. It doesn't bother me, women take forever and when I have to pee, I have to go!
@brendastarlet: I also heard (but I don't know how true this is) that it has to be dipped into some sort of cleaning chemical to kill off germs and whatnot. But this was just coming from a friend, so I don't know.
@anibundel: OMG. Now I want spicy tuna so bad!
mmm....I love sushi!
