@SAfiftyseven: I totally agree. How can we trust these people will work with the police to recover our stolen Macbooks if they can't even stick to their word of offering a promotion. What'll they say next? They have an overwhelming response of stolen Macbooks that they aren't able to help everyone? Yeah, I don't think…
Can't this be an extension instead of an app? I don't want to use any Chrome apps because I like the SpeedDial start page as my default/new tab page.
@powel212: That's what I thought in the battle for trying to decide to get Boxee or Apple TV. Everything I've read for the past week points to Boxee.
I'm on 4.3 and installed the Homebrew Channel and BootMii but nothing is working. They're there but it won't read my backup disks. Help?
I can't seem to be able to do this on a Mac. Wine doesn't properly run WBFS Manager—it screws up when it needs to download the Microsoft Framework. The Mac version, WBFS for Mac, doesn't seem to be able to detect my drive (so that I can format it).
Or maybe Lifehacker can make a custom google search engine: [google.com]
Does the free version still have ads? I'm afraid that the update would "break" the ad-removal I have in Evernote, though the new features look tempting. Might just update and deal with the ads. :(
This is very useful information, thanks!

omg reading that on a 13" macbook is the most annoying thing in the world.
I've been waiting for this since I've heard about Mint. So excited!
@Riff-Raff: If you live in a big city and rent, chances are you'll experience noise everywhere unless you rent a whole house to yourself. Many buildings are old and don't have soundproofing. The reality of living in a big city with all the awesomeness of a city is that people live on top of each other until you can…

i love when people freak out on me for parking in a handicapped spot when i'm not handicapped. i park like an asshole i guess... but honestly.. a gigantic loblaws (that's a canadian grocery store) at 11am on a monday doesn't need 10 handicapped spots.... this is funny... i don't take more than one spot and always park…
I wish you posted this closer to Canadian Thanksgiving because we had a vegetarian over! :(
You also can't download and access your Facebook messages offline like you can with an email client.
"It's not that email, itself, is necessarily slow but that when you send a message you have to fill out a lot of information. In addition to the message you send, you're supposed to supply a subject, need to decide between To, CC, and BCC, and make other little choices"
No thanks. Facebook already dominates a huge part of my life, I'm sad to admit, I love Gmail and using an email client (Apple Mail) to consolidate all my email addresses. I'm sad enough as it is that Facebook is the only online messaging system I have for some people.
