that is exactly what it was about and it’s a good and valid point. especially considering that Affleck was a grown man with a wife and children when his allegations took place.

i just read about that! it really sucks because not only was her response victim shaming, it read as though she expects girls to wear chastity belts to the doctor which is just weird...but she also added a #metoo at the end, which i don’t think she understands the meaning behind the hashtag.
it sucks that she’s not getting the same salary, but he was at the magazine for 25 years...there would be some pay gap. hopefully she’ll get the raises and bonuses she deserves overtime. i’m just excited to see her work. edward enninful at vogue uk’s first issue just came out and the cover is gorgeous!
lol, i was four when my mom was pregnant with my brother too. i just remember her stomach getting bigger and her saying we would have another sibling soon (it was me and my sister up until then). he’s a pain, but i wouldn’t trade him in for anything.
i read that earlier today...but wasn’t sure if it was true or not or if it could be verified.
“r” still comes before “s” so...it’s still weird.
rihanna, rihanna. that was skit was so funny and i don’t even play video games that much anymore, but the stationary movements, her walking off the stage and even keenan picking her character by mistake were all great choices.
it’s good that she’s putting her position of power to good use. it would be reallly horrible if ratner were to get more money from this movie. i’m assuming there is some type of morality clause in his contract that enabled wb to cross him out of the deal.
has there been anything on the actresses of one tree hill’s open letter about their abusive executive producer? they all came forward after a former writer on the show Audrey Wauchope, wrote about her experiences on twitter over the wekend.
i’m getting a headache from reading all of the comments. it’s like the point went right over their head and they don’t see their own racism/prejudice.
well, basically she’s saying she doesn’t want to be invited to your party because that’s the type of judgements she’s speaking against in her statement.
yeah, that looks like a direct call out from her. good catch!
i just started watching top of the lake the first season with elizabeth moss...but i think it might be a little too intense for me. i will start alias grace bc i’ve heard good things about it.
the first season was so good and i was looking forward to a second season to feature more of eleanor holmes norton who is amazing!
the thing is a white girl with a long blonde ponytail on the cover...would still have her long blonde ponytail on the cover. so it’s more about perception and a graphic designer deeming what is “prettier” than just trying to “clean up an image.
happy that everything worked out for you.
you would think they would just settle, make changes to how they display watermelons and move on.
i felt soooo duped and bad about blaming stella liebeck when i found out that it wasn’t a frivolous lawsuit, but a necessary one, especially since she incurred so much pain and suffering. i spent years thinking that some “dumb lady” didn’t know how to drink coffee.
yeah...that ending is very frustrating and going to that house alone was dumb...so was not just telling the police also, why didn’t the police know he had a mom, that seems like the first person they would reach out to.
oh boy, it has a bad ending? i’ll probably finish it tomorrow. i guess i won’t feel to badly about it since it’s only a few episodes.
