i just read about that! it really sucks because not only was her response victim shaming, it read as though she expects girls to wear chastity belts to the doctor which is just weird...but she also added a #metoo at the end, which i don’t think she understands the meaning behind the hashtag.

i just started watching top of the lake the first season with elizabeth moss...but i think it might be a little too intense for me. i will start alias grace bc i’ve heard good things about it.

the first season was so good and i was looking forward to a second season to feature more of eleanor holmes norton who is amazing!

the thing is a white girl with a long blonde ponytail on the cover...would still have her long blonde ponytail on the cover. so it’s more about perception and a graphic designer deeming what is “prettier” than just trying to “clean up an image.

i felt soooo duped and bad about blaming stella liebeck when i found out that it wasn’t a frivolous lawsuit, but a necessary one, especially since she incurred so much pain and suffering. i spent years thinking that some “dumb lady” didn’t know how to drink coffee.

yeah...that ending is very frustrating and going to that house alone was dumb...so was not just telling the police also, why didn’t the police know he had a mom, that seems like the first person they would reach out to.
