Was about to very angrily protest that I did. But then realized I’ve been 30 for 5 months now.

At a certain point you just have to be like [jack‐o motion] and do you.
They’ve tried this before. Final Fantasy XII was a brilliant game, it looked amazing, the mechanics were inventive, it was awesome, and all I heard from fans of the series was that it wasn’t a real FF. FFXIII bears all the marks of a game made by people who were scared of negative criticism.
He’s right. The company is taking a huge risk to reinvigorate the series. They have to though, because what was happening before wasn’t working. Maybe a little, but more change is needed.. There’s so much competition out there nowadays
I began ignoring the straw policy after that, and the manager dutifully ignored my ignoring of said policy.
That story about eating the $20...I mean, there are people who won’t handle ANY cash without gloves, because of how filthy it is. Plus, something like 114% of US currency has trace amounts of cocaine on it...then again, maybe that’s why he ate it.
What is it with strange customers and soup? I never thought I’d have a story to contribute here because I’m a bookseller, but it turns out I’ve got one for you.
For what it is worth, this guy is a lawyer.
and so was Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.
That movie was WAY more than “about 10 years ago.”
I bet it was Crash. Everyone in that movie was playing fairly miserable characters. Method Acting + miserable characters can turn ugly off camera pretty fast.
That was way more than ten years ago, buddy.
Faceoff still atracts quality artists in the feild, largely because it’s maintained its integrity as a design competition and not a drama with some art stuff in the background. If talented people see that a show is going to really get them something, a good prize, name recognition, and/or a leg up in their feild then…
Totally agree. I wasn’t a huge fan of Ashley’s designs- but I really liked her as a person. And once the other contestants started in with the bullying, I pretty much became Team Ashley for the rest of the season. Although I did truly think her collection at fashion week was the best of the 3 and she deserved to win.
Another major pet peeve with the Lifetime format: almost every challenge is SPONSORED by someone. I think that is the show’s ultimate undoing, unfortunately — I say this as a huge fan.
God, THIS. It drives me nuts that they repeatedly only give them one day and then are upset at the glue-gunned crap that walks the runway. Would it kill them to give them two days (a day and a half?) so that we can be properly wowed by what they managed to come up with? That is what got me hooked on the show in the…
A-freakin-men! This was originally a show about talent and creativity, but now it’s a time management competition. I get that the competition requires some time constraints, but I think this last season really makes the case for bringing back the creative competition, as opposed to the race to the runway that it’s…
A lot of the problem came when they switched to Lifetime and one day challenges became the standard.
Those last 2 got me hard. The little boy bringing ice cream to the waitress and the Santa. Man alive, nobody here is going to believe I’m looking at the spreadsheets I should be looking at....
No, you’re crying.
