Yeah, it is interesting to note the difference in how they operated in what is ostensibly the same system. Might be something to chalk up to OL play? I feel like Palmer wasn’t as reckless as Winston seems, though there’s still a possibility he can fix that, too, although those instincts are pretty hard to shake. As

Could be, but I’m still sticking with Stockholm Syndrome, but more in the military-ish sense that they like to give the impression of. Hell, J.J. Watt apologized for “letting down fans” because he tore his pectoral muscle. Which is his own prerogative, but kinda twisted, in that he has nothing to feel bad about and fan

Well, to the HBO v Netflix point, they’ve had 30+ years to get original programming right, with plenty of misses, missteps, and mishandling of properties in the lineage, but a better reputation and a lot of experience in their ranks.

I am completely flabbergasted that comparison is not very far off. And that’s with me thinking Carson Palmer was quite overrated his whole career. Do I now have to think Jameis is underrated, but also a shithead, so he doesn’t get my “auto-Black QB defense,” but I can’t really base that on his actual gameplay?

Seems a special sort of Stockholm Syndrome, eh? You never (re: very, very rarely) hear a coach lamenting the loss of any player, whether due to free agency or trade, and only occasionally for injury. But whenever a shit coach is on the hot seat, they find some player to “humanize” him.

He’s also a thawed-out cryogenically frozen robber baron from 1874, so let’s cut him some slack for being slow on the uptake, eh?

Does that imply that yesterday and/or tomorrow are the days for not doing?

“See, Joe, that’s what snakes get on Whacking Day.”

Probably somewhere in the middle? He’s a hell of an athlete, much more than Juju, and he’s been a monster this year; might well be capitalizing on defenses focusing on Evans, but that wouldn’t explain everything. I just wonder what both he and Evans would look like with a better QB.

The point of the criticism, maybe, The point of the line as written was “racism experienced by players either representing England or playing in English domestic leagues.”

Hadn’t heard that podcast, but I think I was inching toward a similar point. “This issue that the team specifically addressed through offseason acquisitions got better” certainly makes common sense! And ditto for the opposite; they should probably play out as such for most of the year. Whereas things that seem like

I feel that the first statement is very “prisoner of the moment,” although sometimes they can certainly be predictive. Certainly rosters take time to jell, and players are getting back into the flow, but you can start to see certain things take shape. Essentially the opposite statement was said for the Sixers

Now playing

Japanese people know another Spider-Man, too.

I still believe that game flow changes depending on situations, which are constantly changing as each team reacts to the situation in front of them. And in that sense, certainly can still blame the coach for not trying to get a few more yards, though if a game-long concern was offensive performance and turnovers, it

In most other games of tbe season, yeah!

It is definitely more fair to say the kick didn’t win the game than that the kick lost the game.

If they scored another touchdown on an earlier drive, maybe the Chargers change their game plan. Maybe any number of different things would have happened if an earlier series goes differently.

On the list of reasons they lost, missing a game-winning field goal in the final seconds is literally #1.

As an American, Pennsylvanian, and believer in good things, it is deeply troubling and conflicting that Pulisic plays for goddamn Chelsea.

“Tampa Bay’s offense is at its worst whenever Mike Evans doesn’t have the ball.”
