Well, on TV, that would have been the sealing deal. But having my impressions of how courtrooms operate, based on media, shattered when I actually sat in on cases and went through jury duty is the reason I decided against law school.
Let’s hope. The case of the guy who shot and killed the mentally disabled person who hit him in a store, and also shot his family members, and then got off made me incredibly pessimistic about this outckme.

The “endowment fund is more like a pool of what could be thousands of different funds, each with a different, specific funding purpose. There is a a general university endowment, too, which is typically like ~20-25% of the total endowment figure. (I think Harvard’s is 20%, which would be ~$9 billion.)
