Maybe more of the kind of standard-keeping/product loyalty one has when you can’t really afford much experimentation. I travel Philly>DC every weekend on account of a long-distance relationship, and Amtrak is much preferably when I can afford it, for all the reasons mentioned: seat comfort/space, cuts an hour of the travel, less volatility due to traffic/weather, better bathrooms, dining cart.

I wrote a 2 page essay in AP American History (WFBO) about how stupid the Electoral College was all the way back in 19 diggity 98, and it’s still relevant today.
