Yes, this. I’m just getting out of a very similar situation, and gaslighting and abuse was part and parcel with the other woman problem. Took me a while to admit, but the abuse was always there, even when it wasn’t being cranked to 10 over that issue.

I would think they would try to offer a quality product to maintain steady customer spending and growth for years to come, rather than trying to squeeze extra money out of people in the short term for a shoddy product, creating antipathy and whittling the customer base down to nothing.

Our neighborhood is barren except for pidgeys, rattatas, weedles, and an occasional eevee. People who don’t have access to nearby pokestops buy pokeballs. These are also more likely to be people in places with terrible spawn rates who need trackers like Pokevision to catch anything worthwhile.

Is your family able to find much near home? That’s our problem here... With no Pokevision, we can walk for an hour and find nothing better than a weedle. Cities seem to be far better for random catches.

The news has been spreading through all my IRL friends this morning and most are furious. Do you happen to live in a mid-sized or larger city?

I requested a refund this morning, sent a support ticket, tweeted Pokevision my support and niantic my displeasure, and left a one star review for the app. I’ve not opened it since I heard the news, and don’t intend to unless I see Pokevision up and running again.
