I listned to Sarah Koenig’s update on the Serial podcast this morning and got actual chills when I heard, “This is a...Global Telink call from...Adnan. Syed,” and the piano music. Ah!

You know that IS Tina Fey right?

He revoked her Citi Bike account.

No but that would be legit.

omg my last name is a vegetable. how have i never realized the potential.

They biked for YEARS.

Also the senator from ALASKA would be judged pretty hard for bailing during a snowstorm ;)

I went to a VERY liberal college with co-ed bathrooms, showers, etc. Nobody really cared and it honestly made us all better friends. I think it’s shaped a lot of my views today.

My parents took me to see Phantom of the Opera for my 14th birthday and it’s one of my favorite memories. I was stuck between a boombox and going to see the play on Broadway. My parents gave me the boombox with the tickets tucked inside a card. Still the greatest gift ever.

My friend’s brother went to a second or third round casting in Philadelphia. They had to bring a friend and go to the douchiest bar in the city and were basically watched for a few hours getting drunk and partying.

Agreed. Anyone remember when Tommy Lee went back to college??

Yes I just posted elsewhere that this was my favorite season! I think I must have been right at the perfect age to be obsessed and think that these guys were living the best life ever.

I loved New Orleans

I do really like this season - I feel like I’m learning a lot. But, I really don’t like that she’s never going to talk to Bowe. Part of what made the first season so interesting was SK’s relationship with Adnan! This time, we’re just getting second-hand looks at him and conversations with another person.

That’s a good one. I haven’t listened to it in a long time, but those girls are hilarious.

I grew up in a town named for Lyme disease. I can’t believe I made it out alive (and no not all of CT is WASPy. It's home to the wealthiest and the poorest cities in the country).

I agree. I thought it was great that they published, and she certainly had a lot of potential, but it read like exactly what it is: college students writing about love and life in their creative writing class.

Serendipity!

Thank you. I just snorted leftover burrito out of my nose.

He was better off!
