We do this, also. We call it the “cat blanket” and it layers over our comforter. It’s one of those inexpensive faux fur types that does not coordinate but the cats loooove to knead it and sleep in it. It only comes off for sexing or when I have company and break out bed pillows and arrange everything prettily.

Is this the time to plug a friend’s podplay involving a yeti who is not friendly like the affable sasquatch pictured?

I use a great tinted sunblock - EltaMD Physical - it goes on nicely under whatever you feel like that day - full coverage foundation or just some powder (I’d say it provides light coverage once it sinks in). Because it’s zinc oxide/titanium dioxide it won’t degrade as quickly as chemical sunscreen. Shields my pale

This is the only one I use! I just tried Lancome’s new pore primer and it was inferior to Benefit’s (better coverage, tinted gives it an advantage when used more thickly). It also wins over Too Faced IMHO.

It used to be getting a Brazilian/underarm/full leg and hobbit toes waxed every 5-6 weeks. I have a complex about being hairy and am pale Mediterranean with dark hair so that combination has given me incredible fortitude in hair removal.

As a fellow curly, I also recoiled at that remark.

There is a Cleveland-based brewery - Willoughby - that makes a far superior peanut butter chocolate porter...so the folks who shop at Heinen’s can just head over there and grab a growler. It definitely lived up to my expectations, and blows Sweet Baby Jesus out of the water (and other chocolate peanut butter beers

Also a size 2, also could not reach. Felt bad for a moment, then was like...fuck that bullshit. Bikini ready is putting on a bikini that fits me and wearing it.

It’s kind of horrible because I am a healthcare professional, but my inner 80s/90s child means that a part of me wishes I could do my makeup like this and go to work and have it be acceptable. Pair that makeup with a pencil skirt, silk top, and heels and somewhere Past-Pink-14 (likely age 8 or so) is like yessssssss

My parents still have a slice of cake from their wedding in 1977 their freezer. I remember marveling over it as a child in the 90s. Some people are really good at keeping stuff in their freezers...lol.

Ugh, yes, AT’s last few seasons have just been garbage and also really unappealing in general. I’ve grabbed a few items on sale so I wasn’t upset when they started to fall apart.

I have a navy blazer 2006 and my sister has the “same” style from 2011 and the quality of fabric, buttons, and construction is crazy different.

Yes. I have pretty much given up and it’s irritating because as a teenager one of my stupid dreams was to have disposable income to spend on lots of J. Crew and look professional and cute and cool and now I have enough $ to buy fairly nice clothing, but want pretty much nothing from J. Crew. Or am cognizant of the

For me, it was a downturn in quality...I have blazers from eight years ago that are so much better made than the ones they sell now.

Yeah.

This sounds pretty much exactly like my experience! I also will eat coconut oil. Have you had coconut butter, or chocolate coconut butter? Definitely a food of the gods.

+10 bonus to working Queen into an article about a zookeeper getting scratched by a reptile. That wasn’t easy.

I have not! Thank you for the tip. This past winter was honestly miserable for my face. Once I got my hands on that Paula’s Choice clinical moisturizer it was much better, but it was a little, as you say, heavy handed.

Hmmm I wonder if that’s where it went wrong. I would love for it to be effective. I have used jojoba oil on my face very effectively (absorbs well, didn’t break me out), but it’s too pricey to slather all over.

Interesting thought! I do shave presently with no underarm issues... But I am in the process of lasering them so that’s good to keep in mind in the case I develop any problems.
